Where is Madagascar Located?

The beautiful island of Madagascar lies about 200 miles off the southeast coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean.

Madagascar is the shape of California and offers a similar complex range of terrain, from stately mountains, through desert and sandy beaches, to a lush terrain. It is the fourth largest island in the world and it is exactly the size of Texas! It is home to 20 million Malagasy people.
